Job Description:
-Manages daily activities around distribution center.Manages the distribution of products, parts, and inventory.
-Monitors inventory levels to manage expenses, minimize loss, and maximize revenue.
-Ensure that goods are dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations and in the expected quantities.
-Evaluates freight services, negotiates contracts, and manages relationships with chosen vendors.
-Analyzes existing processes and proposes improvements and new methods to control costs and enhance customer satisfaction.
-Directs warehouse operations including transportation, maintenance and order management.
-Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
-Ensures that project goals are met and adhere to approved budgets.
-Has full authority for personnel actions.
-Extensive knowledge of department processes.
Skills and Qualifications:
-Bachelors or master’s degree in Business or related field AND 5-7 years’ relevant experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, commodities, forecasting and other techniques for maximizing the effective distribution of goods.Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities, including the abilities to set goals, motivate and manage conflict.
-Exceptional time management and organization skills.In-depth understanding of industry and company best practices for the warehouse.
-Comfortable using inventory management software and other organizational computer applications.
-Progressive career track.Experience in managing and motivating the team for best performance.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service.
-Trilingual in English/Mandarin/Spanish is preferred.
-Willing to learn, detail-oriented, able to multitask, and confident.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
-Willing to accommodate flexible work schedules.
