Job Description:

System testing group (Team S.H.A.R.P, Scalability, High Availability, Reliability, Performance) has immediate openings in California (Redwood Shores/HQ), China Development Center (Beijing), New England Development Center (New Jersey) and India Development Center (Bangalore).

Here are the number of openings immediately available in various locations:
US: 8
CDC: 3
IDC:9

The positions offer great opportunities to master the entire Oracle product stack from ground up, including operating systems, storage, network, Fusion Middleware (FMW), Database, Engineered Systems, Big Data, Cloud and Oracle Fusion Apps (FA). Various programming technologies will be used to implement fully automated, distributed test framework/infrastructure to be able to effectively simulate real world enterprise applications. The positions can be viewed as a combination of, but not limited to, application developer, database administrator, performance expert and solution designer/architect.

Detailed Responsibilities:

- Design and implement the next generation distributed automation infrastructure for Oracle Database, Engineered Systems, Big Data, FMW, Cloud and FA

- Deploy, Configure, Administer and troubleshoot all layers of Oracle product stack

- Execute test suites, analyze the performance reports, and identify bottlenecks or defects of the products in different layers

- Collaborate with various development teams to resolve the problems encountered

- Install and maintain third party tools as required

Qualification:

BS/MS in CS or equivalent experience
Strong programming skills in Java and familiar with scripting languages e.g., Python, Perl, etc.
Knowledge of J2EE, SOA, BPM, OBIEE, Identity Management (IDM), WebLogic Server, Exalogic, RDBMS and SQL
Enthusiasm in Oracle technologies and enterprise computing
System performance analysis skill and experience are highly preferred
Good verbal and written communication skills in English

System Testing Team S.H.A.R.P within the Oracle server technology division is a highly respected and sought-after group with a long track record of success. The group focuses on improving stability, high availability, reliability and performance (S.H.A.R.P) of the complete Oracle product stack including Enterprise Linux, Database, Exadata, Big Data, Oracle Fusion Middleware, ExaLogic, Cloud, Database and Fusion Applications in enterprise computing environments.

The team operates on a significant hardware budget allowing the effective simulation of really high transaction rate and throughput and really large volume of data.

The team is responsible for designing, developing and carrying out stress/integration/system/performance tests for enterprise applications simulating real world scenarios, and providing best practice recommendations to internal and external customers.
