99 Ranch Market - Compliance Safety Assistant
Location: 2931 Faber Street, Union City, CA
Job type: Full-Time

Job Responsibilities:
-Provides legal assistant and advice to store operation team by researching federal, state, and local laws, existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
-Maintains and updates corporate documents, licenses, and permits.
-Develops and maintains the corporate's Injury and Illness Prevention Program training content.
-Assists with safety compliance training, coordinate meeting, and other corporate functions.
-Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
-Handles customer insurance claims and communicate with customers.
-Handles phone calls and correspondence independently.
-Able to drive to retail store locations in the bay area. Occasional travel to other states is required.

Qualification:
-B.A./B.S. degree, organizational/administrative working experience is preferred
-Prior experience in the legal study or administration function is highly desired
-Strong communication and writing skills. Must be bilingual in Chinese/English (Cantonese & Mandarin are highly preferred)
-Good customer services skills
-Proficient in Microsoft and Google office sets
-Must be legal to work in the United States
