Full time Laboratory Assistant Needed in Fremont

Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Laboratory Assistant for a full time positon. The position allows the laboratory assistant to perform numerous immunohistochemistry (IHC) process and reagent manufacturing.

A successful candidate will have experience with biological laboratory setting. The interest to learn new laboratory methods, great attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures exactly, the ability to multitask, and excellent documentation skills.

Job Duties:
– Perform IHC, ISH, FISH, etc
– Perform Quality Control Testing, including all Antibody and Bioreagent materials and finished products
– Adhere to cGMP, FDA, SOP and other regulatory guidelines
– Follow well-defined and established procedures.
– Perform H&E and special stains
– FFPE tissue sectioning
– Maintain QC and manufacturing records, equipment logs and other controlled documentation.
– Prepare reagents, solutions and control slides
– Perform routine cleaning, maintenance and calibration of equipment
– Other assigned duties



Requirements
– Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory, chemical, or biological science
– Accurate documentation skills and the ability to comply with regulatory requirements

Preferred:
– Experience with immunohistochemistry with IHC autostainers
– Experience sectioning paraffin-embedded
