If anyone is interested going to Hawaii for vacation, the Big Island has a laid back/rural vibe. Top things to do: 1. The only island where you can see live volcano at National Volcano Park 2. The only island where you can night snorkel with giant manta rays 3. Star glazing and sunset watch at Mauna Kea Summit 4. Akaka Falls/Rainbow Falls if water fall/rainforest is your thing 5. Beaches: Hapuna Beach, 69 Beach, 49 Black Sand Beach, Kua Bay, Green Sand Beach, Two Step beach (free snorkeling) just to name a few great beaches. 7. Pololu Valley. I appreciate how rural it remains 6. I also recommend Lava Lava Beach Club and On the Rocks for sunset dinner. If you are going to the Big Island, this 2 bedroom vacation rental is 5-8 minute walk to the ocean and downtown hotspots (luau, restaurants, bars, shaved ice, surf shops, charter boat, farmers market etc ), 2 floors over 1000 sqf of living space, full kitchen, free parking, in unit laundry.
