SUMMARY

Founded in 1980, The American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) is one of the oldest acupuncture and Chinese medicine colleges in the country. Distinguished faculty and a rigorous curriculum have established ACTCM as a truly exceptional program that brings in students from all over the world. ACTCM offers masters and doctoral degrees in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as a broad selection of certificate programs, public classes, and continuing education courses. In July 2015, ACTCM is scheduled to merge with the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) and become its fourth school.

The Development Officer will organize and manage all fundraising activities for ACTCM including implementing the annual fund; creating a major gifts program; approaching corporations for support; and assisting with applications to foundations and the government. The position will place a special focus on networking with the Chinese community in the San Francisco Bay Area, including individuals working within Silicon Valley. This position will report to the Vice President of Development at CIIS.
